Install Centre Fixed Handles - Single sided
These instructions are suited to any handle with a centre fitting (excluding concealed fitting).
Fitting
Joinery & door handles are supplied with all fittings required for fixing the handles to the door. Included in this set are:
- Metal threaded insert prefixed in rear of each handle
- 1 x screw
Safety
- Always follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions when using power tools and adhesives
- Wear safety glasses throughout the installation
Step 1: Set up
You will need
- 4-12mm drill depending upon the size of the fitting
- Safety glasses
- Small Allen key
- Handle and screw
Step 2: Prepare the door
a) Locate and mark the position for the handles on the door
b) Drill 4-12mm hole through door at the point marked out above
Step 3: Install
a) Insert the screw through the predrilled hole in the door from the rear side.
b) On the other side of the door wind the handle onto the screw. Tighten with the Allen key until secure, taking care not to over tighten.
